Comments

The collaborative approach to divorce practice is a natural offshoot of my experience in seminary at Candler School of Theology. Although I have been a divorce lawyer for many years, I now unabashedly approach family law practice from a Christian view of the world, with a firm belief that the true treasures in life are not material, but rather spiritual; that while we cannot always heal a relationship, we can at least try to prevent the scars and the pain that is so much a part of many contested divorces; and that the parties to a divorce owe it to themselves, their children and their extended families to accomplish a dissolution of the marriage with dignity, understanding, and in a way that does not destroy the many other ties that bind us, one to another.
