Professional Activities

Gisella is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University. Gisella is the owner of a group practice specialized in serving children, teens and their families. She has extensive experience in behaviour problems, parent coaching and separation and divorce. When working as a child specialist, Gisella aims to provide children with emotional support, helping them build resilience and coping skills. She advocates for the children's best interests and supports parents so they can provide safety and comfort through the separation and after. As a divorce coach, Gisella aims to soften the conflict, provide emotional support, psychoeducation and improve communication. She also helps couples create parenting plans, agreements and schedules. In the past, Gisella has worked in the neuropsychiatry department at BC Children’s Hospital, has been part of research teams at Simon Fraser University (SFU), and completed advanced training in emotionally-focused family therapy and synergetic play therapy. She is a member of the Collaborative Divorce Vancouver team, the Hear the Child Society and Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).
