I enjoy helping folks who find themselves in family law cases involving divorce or child related issues. This includes divorce, child custody, child support, grandparent rights, and adoption. These are usually emotional and challenging times for all involved. I enjoy helping people move through the process in a way that balances the competing interests - coming to a more peaceful resolution while also protecting the interests of children, preserving assets (including businesses), preserving or strengthening the co-parenting relationship, etc. I have almost 30 years of experience and have developed good skills in working towards agreements out of court (such as Collaborative Law) or in advocating in a court if necessary.
